The theme for the SOCIAL EVENING on Friday September 28th is around Te Rau Aroha Cottage. Please note, Doors open at 7.00pm and the Social will be Alcohol Free.
Your options for SOCIAL EVENING WEAR, are wide and varied. Your ideas can be based on the history of the name; country and western [in reference to C Company and their use of the Te Rau Aroha canteen based in Tobruk].
Please make it a lot of fun, with florals, headgear, masks, harakeke, which incidentally grows around the back of the cottage. YOUR REGIONAL COLOURS emphasized in your Social Attire will result in a stunning rainbow of colourful hues.
Your creative interpretations will be unique to you!

BRING your own DRINK VESSEL
So that we may support the global drive to reduce plastics in our environment we have chosen not to purchase hundreds and hundreds of plastic bottled water.
We will however have self-serve water stations and we encourage you to bring your own DRINK VESSEL that can be re-filled on demand.
Ma koutou ma tatou katoa e tiaki i a Papatuanuku!
Please pack your MWWL TABLECLOTHS
Let us together elevate our 2018 Conference ambience and display the strength and distinction of Te Ropu Wahine Maori Toko I Te Ora with our branch tablecloths. With the increase of rangatahi participation at our Conferences, it is appropriate that we enrich and enhance their view of the teachings of our leaders, past and present; beginning at the table!
